We pride ourselves on hard work, passion and togetherness. The retail team have an exciting opportunity for multiple roles to be filled within its retail and superstore team on matchday. You will help our customers/supporters find the right products to enhance their enjoyment of supporting AFC Bournemouth through the provision of exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- To personally provide excellent standards of customer service by:
- Displaying good listening skills to identify customer needs and meeting those needs with the right product advice.
- Provide relevant and comprehensive key product information to customers.
- Demonstrating appropriate body language - friendly, open, helpful and approachable.
- Confidently engaging with customers and closing sales.
- Looking for link selling and till add on opportunities which will increase spend per head.
- Understanding the importance of product presentation and general store/retail area standards.
- Confident in solving customer problems quickly and effectively.
- Maintaining good working relationships with ‘internal stakeholders’ such as; Commercial team, Ticketing team, Accounts team, Operations Director, Chief Executive and Chairman.
- Providing our customers with the right products and experience so that every customer leaves inspired to enjoy supporting AFC Bournemouth.
- Replenish stock and maintain high standards of merchandising by ensuring that products are attractively displayed, correctly barcoded and priced with relevant Point of Sale (POS) applied.
- Conduct till point operations in line with guidelines.
- Conduct shirt printing where applicable (following training).
- Understanding and operation of the Touch Office EPOS system.
- Conduct Stock Checks as requested.
- Maintain vigilance in store and awareness of security issues including for example, fraudulent bank notes, credit cards, theft and suspicious behaviour; elevate security concerns to management as and when required.
- Demonstrating commitment to the team, supporting and helping other colleagues with tasks.
- Displaying a genuine and positive attitude to help team and Superstore achieve its objectives.
- Getting behind Retail initiatives.
- Carrying out additional duties as when required.
- Commitment to undertaking identified training requirements and putting into place learnings.
- Ability and willingness to acquire job related skills and knowledge through self-development and by learning from others.
