Role Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standard of kit care for the First Team and Coaching Staff at AFC Fylde. This role involves coordinating the daily needs for kit and equipment, contributing to the overall success of the Football Club by providing an elite service to all staff and players.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Preparing and setting out the team dressing room ahead of all home and away fixtures.
- Driving the Kit Van to away fixtures where the team does not stay overnight, ensuring the dressing room is set up well in advance of the team\’s arrival.
- Travelling in the team coach on overnight stays and setting up the dressing room on the morning of matchday.
- Distributing training and match day kit.
- Laundering, drying, storing, and setting out training and match day kit.
- Liaising with the Club Secretary in the build-up to match days to confirm the kit to be worn.
- Supporting the Coaching Staff with the preparation of equipment for training sessions.
- Cleaning and tidying relevant work areas, including the dressing room, boot room, and kit room.
- Driving the Kit Van daily between Mill Farm Stadium and Kellamergh Park.
- Assisting with training equipment cleaning, storing, and preparing.
- Performing daily checks on footballs and other relevant equipment for all squads.
- Recording and monitoring stock levels of training and match kit, including regular stock checks.
- Assisting the sports science and medical departments with storage and inventory management.
- Ensuring the Club brand is promoted on all kit.
- Liaising with the Club Retail department on stock levels.
- Supporting the ordering process of all equipment and training accessories required.
About you:
- Previous experience working as a Kit Manager in Men\’s Football.
- Honest and demonstrates high standards of personal conduct.
- Values and respects colleagues and other members of staff.
- CRC and Safeguarding.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
