AFBI is seeking to recruit a number of experienced and enthusiastic business managers to work alongside AFBI's scientific directors and heads of branches in the delivery of their business areas. The work programme of the roles will have a major focus on financial related matters but is also highly diverse.

The role will support the development and oversight of business planning as well as supporting the directors and/or heads of branch in bringing forward new initiatives which support the work of the area. AFBI's work primarily supports DAERA as well as the wider agri-food, farming and environmental sectors.

These roles represent key positions in supporting high levels of good governance within business areas and will work extensively between the scientific areas and AFBI's finance and corporate affairs teams.

Further appointments may be made from this competition should AFBI positions become vacant which have similar duties and responsibilities.
