100% Ownership of Production Schedule, providing services to key Stakeholders ensuring efficient and effective planning operation of the manufacturing facilities, mitigating risks in the supply chain and delivering opportunities for continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will include, but is not exclusive to:

  • Creating, maintaining and updating the Master Production Schedule for the assigned facilities; serving as a primary point of contact for and liaison with Fabrications, Production, Engineering, Finance, Business Support, and Sales departments.
  • Prepare and communicate weekly work schedule to production management, sub-contract partners & Senior Management Team.
  • Hold daily morning production meetings.
  • Ensure the Master Production Schedule fulfils the customer order book and is aligned to inventory and On-Time-Delivery-In-Full targets; revise as needed and alert appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
  • Provide labour resource requirement plans to the production management team and align on load levelling targets.
  • Produce metrics for schedules and change activities across the lifecycle of a contract and provide analysis and insights for project management data driven decision making.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Sales & Operations Planning Process.
  • Develop capacity 'What If' simulations models for the end to end manufacturing process, identifying variances, and supporting action plans (Aligned Leadership Priorities & Predictive scheduling).
  • Facilitate weekly review with cross-functional stakeholders to check performance to plan and agree reschedule requirements and guidance on priorities to Production Coordinator.
  • Support the procurement and other relevant departments and communicate any supply risks and problems.
  • Recommend feasible solutions to recover backlog or late supply chain enablement.
  • Maintain agreed Advance Planning & Scheduling KPIs, carry out root cause analysis, and drive completion of corrective actions across the organisation.
  • Lead and encourage process and systems improvement through Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Ensure full compliance with the company's Business Management System within your area of responsibility

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

  • Background and experience in production planning, scheduling or a similar manufacturing role.
  • Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Confident working with data, production schedules and KPIs, with good attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively with different departments
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Working hours:

Total Hours: 37.50

Monday to Thursday (start / finish time):

07:30 – 09:00 and 16:15 – 17:45

Friday (start / finish time):

07:30 – 08:30 and 12:00 – 13:00
