We\âre looking for a handsâon Sprinkler Design/Project Engineer to join our Repairs Division, ideally someone with experience in small works such as shop unit fitâouts, minor refurbishments, and system alterations.
This role is perfect for a Design Engineer who is confident using AutoCAD 2D and hydraulic calculation software, and who is ready to take the next step into Project Management. You\âll bring 3+ years\â experience in fire sprinklers, along with a solid understanding of how smallâscale projects are delivered.
What You\âll Be Doing
Managing minor installations, system modifications, and remedial works.
Reviewing and producing technical drawings and specifications.
Coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Attending site visits, client meetings, and handovers.
Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Preparing risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH documentation.
Supporting junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement.
What You\âll Bring
3+ years\â experience in fire sprinklers.
Familiarity with BSEN 12845, BS9251, NFPA, or FM Global standards.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and hydraulic calculation software (e.g., FHC).
Revit experience is a bonus but not essential.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A proactive, customerâfocused approach.
Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously.
