We’re delighted to be supporting a well-established Midlands-based professional services firm as they look to appoint an Events Executive to join their growing marketing and business development team. With nearly 200 employees and ambitious growth plans, this partnership-led firm operates across multiple legal sectors and is particularly well recognised within rural and specialist markets. They are investing in their marketing/business development function and this is a fantastic opportunity to join at a really exciting time.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role within a developing marketing and business development team. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and a CRM Executive, you’ll take ownership of the firm’s busy and varied events calendar. Described internally as an “event-heavy” business, events play a central role in client engagement and brand positioning. From own-premises drinks receptions and thought leadership seminars to rural shows, exhibitions and webinars, no two weeks will look the same. You’ll manage the end-to-end event process — bringing structure, organisation and energy to a fast-paced programme of activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle management of in-person and virtual events
- Ownership of the central events diary and coordination of timelines
- Organisation of firm-hosted events including receptions and seminars
- Management of attendance at external exhibitions and shows (including large-scale trade events)
- Venue liaison, ticket management and attendee coordination
- Briefing external agencies on event collateral and branded materials
- Ensuring merchandise and promotional materials are prepared and distributed
About You
- Proven experience managing events from concept to delivery
- Ideally experienced within professional services or partnership environments
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines
- Happy to travel across the Midlands when required (mileage paid)
