We’re delighted to be partnering with a global B2B specialist as they continue to expand their Midlands presence. They’re now looking for a Marketing & Social Media Assistant to join their busy, collaborative team just outside Burton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their marketing career to gain hands‑on, 360° experience across both digital and traditional channels.
The Role
Working within a small marketing team, you’ll support the Marketing Manager in delivering the annual marketing plan. This is a varied role with a strong social media focus, alongside broader marketing responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Social Media (c.50%)
- Creating and managing content across LinkedIn, Instagram & TikTok
- Writing engaging, original copy (this is key!)
- Supporting both B2B and consumer-focused campaigns
- Collaborating with designers to bring ideas to life
- Content & Campaign Support
- Producing creative copy across a range of channels
- Supporting campaign delivery across digital and offline platforms
- Marketing Collateral
- Briefing designers on content for brochures, packaging, leaflets & flyers
- Assisting with the development of marketing materials
- Internal Collaboration
- Working closely with the sales team to provide marketing support
- Supporting wider business initiatives and campaigns
- Events & Admin
- Assisting with event organisation and trade days
- Managing merchandise stock and general marketing admin
What We’re Looking For
This role would suit someone at the start of their marketing career who’s eager to learn and get stuck in.
- Some commercial marketing experience (placement, internship or apprenticeship)
- Exposure to both B2B and consumer social media
- Strong copywriting skills and a creative mindset
- Confidence to contribute ideas and take initiative
- A hands‑on, proactive approach with a willingness to learn
