Goods In Operative working in the Wakefield Depot. £13.25 per standard hour. 40 hours a week - 5 over 7.

This is an exciting opportunity that A.F. Blakemore are recruiting for, a purpose built multi temperature depot in Wakefield. We are looking for Warehouse Operatives, who are motivated, friendly, hard-working and enthusiastic. The purpose of the job is picking and packing or checking goods to ensure the accurate and efficient assembly of customers’ orders.

Some Key Accountabilities:

  • Accurate assembly of customers’ orders
  • Picking and loading goods onto cages in a safe and manageable manner
  • Accurate input of weighted items
  • Adhering to stock rotational procedures
  • Perform accurate and efficient duties within other warehouse functions
  • Accurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting despatch

Some Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Essential: Numerate and literate
  • Desirable but Not Essential: Any warehousing and distribution experience, any FLT licence
