We have an exciting opportunity for a \'Sandwich Artist\' to work in the SUBWAY department within our Laceby Lodge store, who enjoys working as part of a small team. We are looking for someone motivated, friendly, and hands-on. Reporting directly to the Subway Duty Manager, as a Sandwich Artist, you will provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with customers in a helpful and friendly manner, creating a pleasant experience while completing orders.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Understand menu items thoroughly and explain options to customers accurately.
- Prepare sandwiches neatly according to customer orders.
- Re-stock sandwich ingredients to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift.
- Use the till to record orders, process payments, and give correct change.
- Follow all Subway, SPAR, and company operating processes, policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards when storing, preparing, serving food, and cleaning the department.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred.
- Some understanding of food safety and health legislation responsibilities.
- Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business.
- Keen and enthusiastic approach to working both independently and as part of a team.
