We have an exciting opportunity for a Greggs Bakery Assistant at Greggs Laceby Lodge. As a Bakery Assistant, you will support our store management team and create a positive customer experience by assisting in maximizing sales and profit through various tasks. Your role will contribute to the continuous improvement of the store, ensuring excellent customer service through \'Brilliant Basics, Moments of Wow, Food for later and Food for now!\'

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
  • Greet customers in a friendly manner.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and finding products.
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately at the tills.
  • Upsell products and highlight multi-buy offers.
  • Store Operations:
  • Manage stock, check deliveries, stock shelves, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Perform tasks like date checking, stock rotation, price changes, and promotional displays.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

Key Skills/Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Follow instructions with attention to detail.
  • Understand legislative responsibilities in retail.
  • Contribute ideas for customer service and business growth.
  • Experience with ‘Challenge 25’ policy is desirable.
  • Keen, enthusiastic, and able to work independently or in a team.
