About the Role

Aexis Medical is looking for a Clinical Solutions Specialist to join our growing UK team as a critical bridge between clinical practice and commercial success. This is a clinically-grounded, product-focused position for someone who has lived and breathed decontamination, endoscopy, or theatre management within the UK healthcare sector, and who is ready to use that expertise to deliver digital transformation that drives real impact for providers.

You will work alongside the UK commercial team across the full sales lifecycle — from identifying the right accounts and establishing peer-level credibility with clinical stakeholders, through to supporting post-sale adoption and expansion. Your technical and organizational knowledge will help shape Aexis Medical commercial offering, product roadmap and customer success efforts. This role sits within the UK organisation and reports to the company Directors. It is available on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the experience and availability of the successful candidate.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Pre-sales clinical engagement
  • Commercial collateral & evidence generation
  • Post-sale clinical partnership
  • Internal collaboration & knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Experience

  • Mandatory domain experience in one or more of: Decontamination / Sterile Services (HSDU/CSSD), Endoscopy Unit management, Theatre / Perioperative care management.
  • Ability to speak peer-to-peer with clinical leads, including Decontamination Managers, Lead Endoscopy Nurses, Theatre Coordinators, and clinical governance professionals.
  • Working knowledge of relevant UK standards and frameworks, including HTMs, professional guidelines, JAG and CQC audit requirements, and NHS procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with sales pipeline management, CRM tools, and customer engagement techniques is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of hospital workflows, healthcare IT systems, and compliance requirements.

Soft Skills

  • Experience or strong appetite for clinical advisory or customer engagement roles within healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to present complex clinical scenarios to both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
  • Confident and credible in front of senior NHS stakeholders, including clinical directors and procurement leads.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to varying customer environments.
  • Collaborative team player who works effectively across commercial, product, and implementation functions.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for translating clinical insight into customer value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical or healthcare management qualification (e.g. senior nursing, theatre coordinator, or decontamination technician at a management level).
  • Experience working with or evaluating digital solutions within a clinical setting.
  • Exposure to NHS procurement frameworks, including G-Cloud or NHS Supply Chain.
  • Experience in leading compliance efforts including JAG accreditation or ISO.
