We are committed to integrating BREEAM into our Architectural workflows and are seeking a qualified BREEAM Assessor to join our 90+ Manchester City Centre architectural practice. Salary: £35,000 – 45,000 (subject to experience).
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent BREEAM knowledge and project management skills, with great communication. Working knowledge of BREEAM assessment management platforms such as TrackerPlus and IES Tap is beneficial, but not essential as we offer a full suite of training. BREEAM AP qualifications would also be beneficial, but not essential.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate appropriate skills and knowledge to manage all aspects of BREEAM assessment projects from inception to completion.
- Manage the BREEAM Pre-Assessment and early actions.
- Manage the design stage BREEAM assessment.
- Manage the BREEAM Post Construction Review stage.
- Where appropriate, manage and delegate tasks to other team members to assist in the delivery of projects to consistently high standards.
- Assist with the day to day administrative and financial management of projects.
- Assist with continuous improvement of BREEAM workflows within the practice.
General Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- A high attention to detail, team working skills, and the ability to work within deadlines as and when required.
- A flexible attitude and approach.
- Responsible for familiarising yourself, and adhering to, all AEW company policies and procedures and report any breaches as required.
- Together with your line manager, identify your own development needs, taking into consideration current work activities and career goals.
- Undertake structured and unstructured CPD activities to ensure personal development and log the time accordingly.
