Aevlyn AI is an AI implementation company built on a single belief: that the gap between AI potential and real world impact is an execution problem, not a technology problem. We take organisations from experimentation into production — connecting every AI implementation directly to measurable economic value through our proprietary methodology. We work with financial services firms across fintechs, insurers, wealth managers and private equity, and our platform extends AI-powered intelligence to organisations across all industries. We are at the beginning of something significant, and we are building our team accordingly.
Working directly with the founding team and under NDA, you will initially work on an AI intelligence use case for the private equity sector. The use case processes large volumes of unstructured documentation and produces structured, risk-rated analytical outputs across multiple domains simultaneously. The work spans document ingestion and extraction, intelligent interpretation across several analytical domains, financial modelling, market analysis and a consolidated reporting layer that quantifies the economic value of each analysis. Full technical specifications will be provided following the signing of a non-disclosure agreement. The scope is well-defined, the methodology is proprietary, and the opportunity to build something genuinely novel in the PE technology space is real.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of software development experience with a focus on AI or data-intensive applications
- Strong experience working with large language model APIs — OpenAI, Anthropic or equivalent
- Experience building document processing pipelines — reading, extracting and structuring unstructured data at scale
- Proficiency in Python and relevant data processing and NLP libraries
- Experience with REST API integration and building on top of third-party AI platforms
- Ability to produce structured, formatted outputs from unstructured document sets
- Strong ability to work independently and deliver production-quality code without heavy oversight
Desirable but will be taught
- Experience with financial data analysis — P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, forecasting
- Understanding of private equity processes and due diligence workflows
- Experience with legal document analysis — contract extraction and clause identification
- Experience building RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines
- Data visualisation experience — chart generation and dashboard building
- Knowledge of financial services regulation — FCA, EMIR, MiFID II
- Familiarity with EVA or financial modelling concepts
Once completed the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead other world class models for the financial sector as a key early member of the team.
