This is a highly consultative, customer-facing role where you’ll help shape payment solutions before they become formal delivery projects. You’ll work closely with strategic customers to understand their goals, identify opportunities, and design scalable solutions that align with both customer needs and Aevi’s platform strategy. This role is ideal for someone who understands payments deeply, enjoys working directly with enterprise clients, and can confidently translate complex business challenges into clear, commercially viable solutions.
Initially, you’ll focus on one major strategic customer, with the opportunity to expand your impact across multiple accounts and help build a broader Solutions Consulting function over time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with strategic customers
- Act as a trusted advisor for key enterprise customers
- Support customers through large-scale payment transformation initiatives
- Lead discovery conversations and workshops to understand business challenges and opportunities
- Shape scalable solutions
- Translate business requirements into clear solution proposals
- Provide early sizing and feasibility guidance
- Help customers understand what’s possible within Aevi’s platform
- Drive platform growth
- Identify opportunities to build reusable platform capabilities rather than one-off custom solutions
- Partner closely with Product teams to bring customer insights into roadmap discussions
- Ensure Product, Engineering and Delivery teams have clear requirements and early visibility
- Help teams focus on opportunities with the highest commercial value
- Influence senior stakeholders
- Present recommendations clearly to both operational teams and senior decision-makers
- Challenge requests when needed and guide customers toward stronger long‑term solutions
- Help build the future function
- Contribute to building scalable solutions consulting processes
- Support the growth of this capability as Aevi expands
Location: UK (with regular travel to customer sites + occasional travel to Prague)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in payments consulting, solutions consulting, pre‑sales, product consulting
- Strong knowledge of acquiring, settlement, transaction routing, SoftPOS, A2A payments, and broader payment ecosystems
- Experience working with enterprise customers in complex environments
- Ability to translate ambiguous challenges into structured solutions
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable leading workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Strong collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, Delivery, and commercial teams
Nice to have:
- Experience in fintech, payments platforms, or merchant acquiring
- Experience working in multi‑vendor enterprise environments
- Previous experience helping scale consulting or solutions teams
