We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to act as a key technical authority across Aevi’s platforms. This is a hands‑on senior individual contributor role where you will lead complex investigations, resolve business‑critical production incidents, and shape technical solutions across distributed payment systems. You will operate as an L3/L4 escalation point, working across Engineering, Architecture, Product, Delivery and external partners. Beyond solving problems, you will mentor analysts, strengthen engineering processes, and actively contribute to platform stability and technical excellence. What you'll be doing
- Own complex incidents end‑to‑end
- Lead root cause analysis across distributed systems
- Investigate cross‑platform issues spanning APIs, logs, databases and integrations
- Define remediation strategies and technical recommendations
- Support and mentor junior and medior analysts
- Drive advanced technical analysis
- Work across payment platforms including processing, data flows, host connectors, settlement and reconciliation
- Perform impact assessments and risk analysis
- Identify architectural weaknesses and improvement opportunities
- Engage with customers and partners
- Represent Engineering in customer workshops and escalations
- Challenge assumptions and ensure scalable, viable integration designs
- Provide clear technical updates and risk assessments to stakeholders
- Own Change Requests and Product Requests
- Perform impact analysis and solution design
- Facilitate technical workshops
- Support development, QA, FAT/UAT and pilot phases
- Elevate documentation standards
- Maintain architectural overviews, data flow diagrams and runbooks
- Define documentation quality standards across the Analyst team
Required Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst in fintech, banking, or complex distributed systems
- Strong expertise in APIs, REST, JSON/XML, and microservices troubleshooting
- Deep log analysis experience in AWS (CloudWatch, ECS, EC2, S3) or Kubernetes environments
- Knowledge of PCI DSS and ISO 20022 / ISO 8583 messaging standards — is nice to have
- Excellent analytical thinking and the ability to explain complex issues clearly
- Experience with third‑party integrations in fintech environments is highly valued.
- Czech and English on C1 level
