About the Role

Do you see stories in visuals? Do you find yourself sketching out ideas that could inspire, move, or spark connection? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Visual Designer with the drive to turn imagination into impactful design — someone who’s ready to grow, experiment, and craft visuals that make people look twice and think deeper. At Aetos Communications, we design with intent. Our work shapes how brands communicate, connect, and inspire — across digital campaigns, corporate reports, and publications. We’re seeking a creative mind who’s passionate about crafting meaningful visual stories, while learning from a team that thrives on collaboration, curiosity, and creativity with purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise, visualise, and execute design concepts for digital and print platforms to create impactful visuals
  • Collaborate with design, client servicing, and management teams to deliver creative solutions aligned with strategic storytelling
  • Develop original visual assets for social media, campaigns, and e-publications in English and Chinese
  • Source and curate imagery, iconography, and visual references to enhance design quality
  • Storyboard and design visuals for campaign videos and corporate events to support brand messaging
  • Contribute actively to team brainstorming and creative discussions to foster innovation
  • Manage projects independently, prioritise tasks, and ensure deliverables meet high creative standards
  • Animate and edit videos using After Effects and Premiere Pro to produce engaging multimedia content
  • Apply knowledge or experience in large format or 3D design to expand creative outputs
  • Utilise AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Envato GenAI, and other generative models to enhance design processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience including internships or freelance work; entry‑level designers with 2–3 years of strong portfolio experience are welcome
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with working knowledge of PowerPoint, Canva, MiroBoard, and Figma
  • Ability to read and layout Chinese content for projects requiring Chinese communications
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong design skills from academic or professional projects
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach to problem‑solving
  • Self‑motivated with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Openness to feedback and eagerness to learn new design techniques and ideas
  • Passion for creating purposeful and aesthetically compelling design work
