THE ROLE
As a Waiter, you will be responsible for wowing our guests with exceptional service and making them feel at home in our Aethos Cafe & Members and our Breakfast service. Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:
- Provide exceptional quality service to guests in a quick and efficient manner in line with hotel and brand standards.
- Be comfortable in your ability to multi-task, prioritise and remain calm under pressure.
- A good working knowledge of all food products – particularly the style and concept, as well as a good working knowledge of all beverage products.
- Greet guests, take orders, serve and take payment in line with Aethos philosophy and standards.
- Read tables and understand guest needs and dislikes.
ABOUT YOU
Ideally you would have previous restaurant experience with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, destination fine dining restaurant or cocktail lounge/bar. You should have an open and approachable manner and thrive on interacting with people, great communication skills, a sense of humour and a welcoming smile. An understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service and an eye for detail is essential.
