Interim NHS Supply Chain, Procurement and Tender Specialist Needed Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in NHS procurement, bidding, and tendering processes? Do you have the skills to mentor and train others in navigating NHS and local council tenders? Aetheria Group is seeking an interim NHS Supply Chain, Procurement and Tender Specialist to join us and guide select members of our talented team of technical bid writers. About the Role This interim role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our bid writing function. Two selected technical bid writers from diverse industries have joined Aetheria Group and need expert guidance to: Understand NHS and local council procurement frameworks. Master the art of writing competitive bids for insourced services and care package tenders. Develop pricing models aligned with NHS and council standards. Navigate policies, compliance requirements, and service delivery nuances. The scope of our bids includes insourcing services for NHS trusts, such as endoscopy and surgical services, as well as providing care packages commissioned by local councils. Who We Are Looking For We are keen to hear from professionals with experience in roles such as: NHS Category Managers Buyers or Procurement Specialists at NHS Supply Chain Procurement Managers in NHS trusts or local councils Bids and Tendering Managers within healthcare organisations NHS Supply Chain Directors or senior procurement leads Ideal Candidate Profile Proven expertise in NHS and local council tendering processes. Comprehensive knowledge of NHS and public sector procurement frameworks. Strong pricing strategy and policy development skills. Ability to mentor, train, and develop bid writers with varying levels of experience. Familiarity with insourcing and/or care package service provisions is a bonus.
