Are you currently studying towards the AAT qualification? Would you like to join a friendly, supportive accountancy firm which supports small to medium sized businesses with their accounting? Our client is a well established accountancy firm in Central London. They would like to recruit a Trainee Accounts Assistant with a good academic record and strong work ethic.
You will be trained in general bookkeeping, preparing accounts to trial balance and preparing VAT returns for a broad range of small to medium sized businesses. The majority of your work will be carried out using Microsoft Excel, Xero and QuickBooks. The firm are willing to support you through your AAT studies, by providing funding and study leave.
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Have GCSEs in Maths and English at grades 6-9
- Currently be studying towards the AAT qualification - ideally Level 3
- Be prepared to work full time and study in your own time
- Be able to commute to Central London for work
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a long-term career in accountancy. The firm offer hybrid working, so you will be able to work from home for part of the week. Previous work experience as a bookkeeper / accounts assistant / junior accountant would be a bonus for this position.
