Our client is a leading international talent management company representing high profile artists and bands in the music industry. They would like to recruit a senior bookkeeper with music industry experience for their growing finance team in London.
Your main duties will include:
- General bookkeeping for various entities
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing management accounts
- Assisting with year end accounting
- Processing payment runs
- Liaising with external accountants (which act for artists)
You will be working within a small and friendly finance team and help to supervise a junior bookkeeper. The company allows hybrid working (currently 3 days a week in the office and 2 days from home). One of the perks of working for the company is that staff are given tickets to shows and events.
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Have a minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Have experience of working for either a talent management company or for an accountancy firm which specialises in music
- Have good initiative and be able to work independently
- Ideally be AAT qualified or qualified by experience
