Do you have experience as an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper at an accountancy firm? Would you like to join a friendly, supportive accountancy firm which supports small to medium sized businesses with their bookkeeping? Based in Central London and working with clients across a broad range of sectors, including Media, Property, Entertainment, Luxury Retail and Professional Services; your responsibilities as Bookkeeper will include:
- Communicating regularly with clients to request their accounting records
- General bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, processing expenses
- Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers
- Preparing VAT returns
- Invoicing on behalf of clients
- Managing client bank accounts and processing payments on their behalf
- Preparing management accounts
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on both Xero and QuickBooks. Our client is able to offer the successful candidate a competitive salary, a marketing leading benefits package and study support towards the AAT / ACCA qualification. You will also be able to work from home for part of the week.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Experience of working on various software packages (Xero, Quickbooks, Sage)
- A good academic record, with good attention to detail
- Started / be willing to start an accounting qualification
