Are you an ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant? Do you have experience of accounting for live events and festivals? Our client - a fast growing company in the music industry, would like to recruit an experienced accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting and compliance for a range of music festivals, concerts and live events.

Working closely with promoters and other stakeholders, you will be responsible for:

  • Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis for events
  • Day-to-day accounting, including overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Show accounting, expense claims, cash floats and settlements
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts
  • Preparing statutory accounts

You’ll be working as part of a friendly team who are expected to support each other. Staff at the company enjoy flexible working and excellent opportunities for progression.

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Have at least 5 years accounting experience in the UK
  • Be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, or close to qualifying
  • Have music industry experience
  • Communicate well
