An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen to join a company which specialises in designing and building film sets. They are recognised as leaders in their industry and have worked on a number of high profile projects in film & TV.
The Position
Our client would like to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Advisor. Working alongside the Health & Safety Manager, you will oversee health & safety across multiple sites, which include film studios and outdoor settings. This is a contract position which is anticipated to run for a minimum of 6 months, but could turn permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that rules and procedures are being followed on site
- Delivering training and inductions for equipment and machinery
- Carrying out risk assessments and maintaining training records
- Ensuring that appropriate PPE is worn at all times
- Implementing fire safety procedures
Necessary Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 3 years experience specialising in Health & Safety
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Own transport and the ability to travel across multiple sites; all within the M25
- NEBOSH / NVQ in Occupational Health & Safety / similar qualification
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Health & Safety Officer or Health & Safety Advisor in a similar environment, i.e. construction or engineering. If you are interested in this position and meet the criteria above, please apply today!
