Based in London's West End, our client is an accountancy firm which specialises in providing accountancy services to clients in the music industry. They are recognised as leaders in their field and count some of the world's biggest bands, DJs and solo artists among their clients. The firm would like to recruit an experienced Manager. In this role, you will be assigned a portfolio of clients from the music industry (which includes bands, solo artists, management companies, record labels and promoters) to manage.
Responsibilities:
- Direct management of a bookkeeping / business management team, which will include planning workloads, reviewing timesheets, overseeing work, and recruitment.
- Acting as a 'business manager' for high profile clients; looking after their personal finances as well as their business affairs.
- Tour accounting, budgeting for tours and reconciliation of tour settlements.
- Overseeing all bookkeeping and VAT work for your clients and their companies.
- Royalty accounting and analysis.
- Providing ongoing advice to clients regarding their accounts, taxes and obligations.
