We are seeking an experienced

Radiography Associate to join our client’s dynamic team.

  • Role

The Radiography Associate supports radiographers by preparing and positioning patients for radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images, ensuring patient care and safety under clinical, ethical, and legal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist radiographers by applying clinical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and imaging techniques to support imaging procedures according to protocol under supervision.
  • Position patients accurately following radiography protocols to ensure diagnostic-quality images.
  • Identify basic anatomy and detect gross abnormalities on images to aid radiographic examination correlation with clinical history.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely, excluding exposure setting and radiation exposure tasks, to support imaging procedures.
  • Assist in performing daily quality control checks on imaging equipment to maintain operational standards.
  • Adhere to imaging safety guidelines by understanding exposure selection principles, radiation dose reduction methods, and digital radiography exposure index concepts to maintain safe practice.
  • Manage and document image data accurately and promptly to ensure proper record keeping and accessibility.
  • Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care to support comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Deliver quality service by ensuring patient needs are met and creating a positive experience during routine radiographic procedures.

Requirements

  • Reconsidered in Radiography qualification that qualifies to sit for the AHPC Qualifying Examination.
  • Ability to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Meticulous, flexible with the ability to multitask.
  • Willing to commit to 3 rotating shifts and perform on-call duties.
  • Entry level with no experience is welcome.
