We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team.

Role Summary

The incumbent will independently lead water and wastewater projects, managing budgets, schedules, and deliverables while collaborating with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead water and wastewater projects independently by managing budgets, planning, schedules, and deliverables to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project implementation and timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager and BIM Designer to review, update, and submit drawings promptly for approval.
  • Prepare detailed method statements, risk assessments, progress reports, and technical submissions to support project execution and compliance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress, quality standards, safety, and health practices, and address any arising issues.
  • Participate in plant testing and commissioning activities on site to ensure operational readiness and performance.
  • Systematically manage engineering and project documentation to maintain accuracy and accessibility.
  • Certify completed jobs and prepare progress claims to facilitate project financial tracking.
  • Provide technical support during tender preparation to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Operation Department to support ISO audit processes and maintain certification standards.
  • Lead and motivate the project team to comply with safety regulations and promote a zero-accident workplace culture.
  • Execute other ad-hoc assignments as required to support business needs.

Requirements

  • Recognized Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD to produce and review technical drawings accurately.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in water treatment or related industry to effectively manage project scope and challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders across all workforce levels.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
