We are seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer to join our client’s dynamic team.
A radiographer in a neuroscience setting (such as a Neuroscience Institute or academic neuroimaging center) specializes in capturing high-quality diagnostic images of the brain, spine, and nervous system, often focusing on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), CT, and advanced neuroimaging.
Responsibilities- Imaging Performance: Independently perform MRI, CT, and angiogram scans on patients with neurological conditions.
- Specialized Neuroimaging: Utilize advanced imaging modalities, including functional MRI (FMRI), Electroencephalography (EEG), Magnetoencephalography (MEG), and Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (FNIRS) for research and clinical studies.
- Patient Care: Provide care to patients, including alleviating fear and anxiety, while maintaining high safety standards.
- Data & Technical Management: Manage data collection, quality assurance, and storage for neuroimaging projects.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot technical issues with specialized neuroimaging equipment.
- Collaboration: Work with researchers, clinicians, and neurologists to support experimental setups and clinical trials.
- Education: Recognized Degree or Diploma in Radiography.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience is required, particularly with MRI, though some roles accept fresh graduates.
- Skills: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong communication skills, and proficiency in multitasking.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work 3 rotating shifts and be on-call.
