We are looking for a M&E Engineer for our client from the Building & Construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Render all M&E Engineering support to the M&E Manager / Project Manager/Planning Manager for the successful execution of the project.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, consultant representatives (RE / RTO), relevant authorities and sub-contractors on M&E issues and challenges.
- Coordinate with all M&E subcontractors, as well as project team structural and architectural colleagues to resolve all drawings, site discrepancies or technical issues.
- Attend all project meetings and progress meetings relating to meeting master program schedule.
- Ensure good M&E drawing management and the control of M&E documentation/filing on site.
- Ensure timely production and submission of M&E shop drawings, materials submission and method statements.
- All M&E shop drawings, materials and method statements are to be approved before use.
- Ensure all M&E site activities are well-planned, well-coordinated and on time.
- Oversee and guide all M&E staff / Supervisors / sub-contractors, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the approved shop drawings, materials and method statements.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive M&E progress reports when required.
- Arrange for all M&E T&C works.
- Work with Consultants to come up with a proper site inspection schedule to be carried out by the relevant government authorities.
- Work closely with EHS Department to ensure strict compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience for Main Contractor in project management and/or site coordination works for building or civil projects.
- A team player and able to communicate well with all levels.
