Senior / Radiographer

We are seeking a Senior / Radiographer to join our client’s dynamic team.

Role

The Radiographer performs diagnostic imaging services, including CT scans, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, Fluoroscopy, and Theatre Radiography.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides radiography services in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  • Conducts special examinations such as CT scan, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, Fluoroscopy and Theatre Radiography.
  • Liaises with and accepts advice from the Manager.
  • Assists the Radiologist and doctors in the imaging process.
  • Assists in the care and maintenance of Ultrasound and X-ray machines and radiographic equipment.
  • Participates in departmental activities such as quality assurance and performance appraisal.
  • Attends and contributes to departmental staff meetings.
  • Supervises and directs activities of departmental staff when necessary.
  • Participates in on-call duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Radiography or Diploma from College of Radiographers (UK) or equivalent.
  • Registered with AHPC.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital.
  • Computer literacy.
  • To cover on-call duties as rostered.
  • Office hours, off on Sunday and PH.
