We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team.

Job Summary

The incumbent will design and deliver detailed piping arrangements and equipment layouts for water treatment plants and modular skids, driving project execution from technical specification through onsite support to as-built documentation. The incumbent's expertise will ensure optimal component selection and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to achieve efficient, compliant, and cost-effective plant solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design detailed piping arrangements for water treatment plants, producing isometric drawings, piping support drawings, and bills of materials (BOM) to ensure constructability and accuracy.
  • Prepare and design equipment layouts for complete plants and modular skids, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PID), pump and equipment outline drawings, and Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Automation (EICA) drawings to support project planning and execution.
  • Calculate pressure drops and prepare piping specifications, technical datasheets, and purchase documentation to facilitate accurate procurement of piping components.
  • Size and select pumps, equipment, piping, and fittings to meet system performance and reliability requirements.
  • Coordinate and interface effectively with process, instrumentation, civil, and equipment suppliers to align design and project deliverables.
  • Evaluate and clarify vendor quotations to ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
  • Provide onsite technical support during project execution to resolve issues and ensure design intent is maintained.
  • Prepare and update as-built drawings to reflect final installation and support project close-out.
  • Execute other ad-hoc tasks assigned to support project and team objectives.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and isometric drawing preparation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the water treatment or related industry.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across all workforce levels.
  • Self-motivated with strong teamwork orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Monthly Basic salary ranges from S$3.5k to S$6k.
