We are pleased to offer a 12-month Engineering Placement within our Technical Applications Engineering function, based at our Global Technology Centre in Rotherham. This placement provides the opportunity to work at the front-end of the engineering process, supporting the assessment of customer applications and the selection of appropriate mechanical sealing solutions. You will contribute directly to solving real-world engineering problems across a wide range of industries.

Role Focus - Technical Applications

  • Assess customer applications and operating conditions to determine suitable sealing solutions
  • Support product selection, specification, and quotation activities
  • Analyse technical data including pressure, temperature, speed, and fluid properties
  • Assist in resolving technical queries and supporting field/service feedback
  • Contribute to improving selection tools and engineering data usage

Technical Development

  • Strong understanding of pump systems and sealing applications
  • Knowledge of industry standards and customer requirements
  • Practical experience applying engineering judgement to real-world problems
