Purpose of the role
The Training and Performance Manager, Europe, is responsible for building performance capability and confidence across the retail workforce in their region. The focus is on developing exceptional customer service skills to meet Aesop’s global and regional strategies and business needs.
You will deliver product, service, and retail capability training across Europe, assessing and responding to capability gaps and opportunities using various training methodologies to maximize knowledge, service, and retention. This includes designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating onboarding and training programs for new and existing retail employees.
This is a full-time position based in London.
Key responsibilities include
- Conduct training needs assessments for retail staff regionally, including supporting, analyzing, and developing learning activities for specific teams, markets, and departments.
- Apply deep knowledge of the retail industry and Aesop’s training analytics to establish onboarding and core training programs such as selling, service, and product skills.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure capability development aligns with Talent and Development Strategy.
- Partner with HR on soft skills training, talent management, succession planning, and developing capabilities across the organization, ensuring consistent content for managers and leaders.
- Oversee regional training team engagement to ensure high-standard training strategy implementation.
- Develop regional ‘Train the Trainer’ programs and coach trainers as needed.
- Collaborate with HR leadership and Digital teams to develop learning content and platform integration within HRIS Learning & Development modules.
