Role purpose
The Site Experience & Business Lead oversees the e‐D2C features and consumer experience on the brand website, with a primary focus on user‐centric site UX. This role leverages data and research to inform site strategy, guiding the prioritisation of experiences, services and features to maximise user engagement and satisfaction. It also establishes the design direction for the brand layer, ensuring a cohesive and impactful digital presence.
Responsibilities
Owner of the brand\’s site & user experience strategy, including O+O innovation to foster retention, engagement & conversion.
Establish design direction for Aesop\’s master brand layer, ensuring consistency across markets and regions.
Provide UX expertise on new NGL product feature contributions for the Brand Layer.
Create UX/UI functional guidelines and design templates to reflect a coherent and consistent global vision for the brand.
Owner of testing roadmap, collaborating with markets for A/B testing.
Owner of website roadmap strategy and prioritisation.
Continuously optimise the website to be consumer‐centric and foster retention, engagement & conversion.
Utilise analytics and metrics from markets and global teams to drive new features.
Turn data‐driven insights into actionable items that improve onsite experience.
Work with markets & zones to determine the customer\’s pain points and find right experiences & features to address these issues.
Responsible for .com business & site performance reporting.
Provide support and guidance on Indirect UX (Amazon, Tmall, Kakao as required).
Qualifications
Significant and demonstrable experience in a Product Design / UX Design role, e‐commerce and agency experience highly favoured.
Successful completion of a reputable UX course.
A portfolio of compelling design work that showcases customer‐led thinking.
In‐depth knowledge of digital and e‐commerce design, UX/UI principles.
Proficient in design and prototype tools: Sketch, Figma, InVision, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
Experienced with performance tracking tools.
Strong organisational, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
Commercial acumen with an analytical mindset to lead reporting and optimisation efforts.
Ability to thrive and deliver results in a fast‐paced environment.
Open mindset and deep curiosity seeking to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives.
