Role purpose
The Reward Specialist focuses on the delivery of the 2025/2026 year-end cycle across Aesop. Reporting into the Global Reward Lead, the successful candidate will act as a first point of contact for all Reward-related queries and work closely with the HRIS, People Services and Talent teams to effectively deliver a great employee experience.
Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to –
- Actively participate in the review, implementation and delivery of the annual year-end compensation review process (salary review, bonus allocation, equity adjustments) across global markets.
- Collaborate with global HR and finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency in reward practices across all regions.
- Contribute to B Corp certification requirements from a Reward perspective, ensuring our compensation and benefits practices align with B Corp standards for employee well-being and equity.
- Manage and provide advice on local compensation and benefits programs for Aesop employees in the UK, ensuring compliance with local regulations and market competitiveness.
- Support the annual UK salary review and bonus processes, ensuring accurate data, timely execution, and clear communication.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation and benefits-related matters for UK employees.
- Participate in ad-hoc rewards projects and initiatives as required, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the HR function.
- Ensure data integrity within HRIS systems related to compensation and benefits.
This is a full-time position on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2026, operating on a hybrid working pattern of three days per week based at Aesop\’s London Bridge-based head office and two days per week remote working. For candidates invited to interview, we intend to discuss the potential opportunity to transfer to L\’Oréal, Aesop\’s parent company, in a similar Reward position following successful completion of this FTC. What we are looking for
- Proven experience in a Reward, Compensation & Benefits, or HR Analyst role, preferably within a fast-paced, global organization.
- Demonstrable experience with annual compensation cycles and year-end review processes.
- Familiarity with UK compensation and benefits regulations and market practices is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) is essential.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
