Role purpose

The Senior Social Media Manager will drive Aesop’s social media strategy, focusing on building online communities and connecting with customers. The role requires innovative thinking, attention to detail, team growth, and project management from inception to completion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop organic social media plans, campaigns, and tactics for products, branding, and cultural moments.
  • Support the Head of Digital Marketing and Social.
  • Collaborate with creative, product, and brand teams to tell compelling stories.
  • Manage content planning, delivery, execution, and community engagement.
  • Utilize social tools to deliver campaigns and analyze impact.
  • Build relationships with social platforms to identify opportunities.
  • Oversee social asset production with creative teams.
  • Present campaign plans and results to stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance, optimize strategies, and recommend improvements.
  • Champion brand values across social activations.
  • Engage communities to increase awareness and affinity.
  • Manage regional channels with platform-specific strategies.
  • Collaborate across marketing, PR, regional, and content teams.
  • Drive growth of brand advocates in partnership with PR.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in London, with three days in-office and two remote.

  • Leadership experience in a similar global role.
  • Stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Retail experience is a plus but not required.
