We are seeking dedicated and qualified Registered General Nurses to join our care team. This role involves delivering high standards of nursing care, supervising care staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans
- Provide clinical care including wound management, medication administration, and monitoring of long-term conditions
- Supervise and support care staff in daily duties
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with CQC standards
- Liaise with doctors, families, and external healthcare professionals
- Ensure safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety policies are followed
- Administer flu vaccinations in line with clinical guidelines and best practices
- Participate in annual flu vaccination drives, including community or care home-based programmes
- Maintain proper storage, handling, and documentation of vaccines
Key Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
- Proven clinical experience in a healthcare or care home setting
- Previous experience or training in administering flu vaccinations
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including agency assignments
- Membership with RCNi or an equivalent body or proof of indemnity insurance
- Understanding of MAR Charts, Medicine administrations, and relevant trainings
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in care homes or elderly care
- Knowledge of dementia and palliative care
- Ability to train and mentor junior staff
- Experience working in vaccination programmes or public health initiatives
