Bartender in London

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Bartender in the UK, with a good understanding of professional bar operations, customer service, drink preparation, and health and safety standards. Candidates who have completed relevant bartending or hospitality training will be preferred. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. * Prepare cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other drinks to a high standard. * Take customer orders and process payments accurately. * Provide friendly and professional customer service. * Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented bar area. * Restock beverages, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies. * Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management. * Follow company procedures for cash handling and stock control. * Follow health, safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service requirements. * Handle customer queries and complaints professionally. * Assist with opening and closing the bar. * Work effectively with the wider hospitality team. * Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude. Essential Requirements * Previous professional Bartending experience in the UK. * Good knowledge of UK hospitality and bar service standards. * Experience working in a busy bar, restaurant, hotel, pub, or hospitality environment. * Strong knowledge of beverages, spirits, wines, beers, and cocktails. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure. * Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Training & Qualifications * Relevant Bartending, Mixology, or Hospitality training is required/preferred. * Cocktail-making or beverage-service training is an advantage. * Food Hygiene and Health & Safety training is an advantage. * Any relevant UK hospitality certifications will be considered a plus.
