EXPERIENCED HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT WITH ENHANCED DBS ON UPDATED SERVICE AND VALID HEALTHCARE PRACTICAL TRAININGS NEEDED. Please note we are only able to accept freshers without experience or the relevant practical trainings if they are willing to travel to West London (AESN office location) for the practical training. Kindly do not apply if you do not agree with these terms.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated care assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on residents’ lives while developing valuable skills within the healthcare sector. The role requires excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring personalised needs are met with compassion and respect
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents or clients
  • Help with meal preparation and assist during mealtimes as required
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
  • Support with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments, where necessary
  • Adhere to health and safety policies, including infection control procedures

Skills

  • A driver's license is desirable for supporting home care services and outings
  • Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; online trainings will be offered.
  • Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately
  • Good IT skills for maintaining records and documentation
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Compassionate attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
  • Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail in all aspects of care delivery
