We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, autism, or elderly care needs. The Support Worker will assist service users in maintaining independence, dignity, and wellbeing while supporting them with daily living activities and community participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support according to individual care plans.
- Assist service users with daily living activities including personal care, dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming.
- Support individuals with meal preparation, feeding, and medication administration where required.
- Support service users in accessing community activities, appointments, education, or employment opportunities.
- Build positive and professional relationships with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, equality, diversity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Follow health & safety policies and infection control procedures.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to service users.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision.
