Job Overview
AESN Care is looking for an experienced Senior Care Worker to lead care teams and ensure the highest standards of person-centred care. You will supervise care staff, support service users, and ensure compliance with care regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and support to service users.
- Supervise and mentor Care Workers.
- Allocate daily duties and monitor performance.
- Support medication administration and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and review person-centred care plans.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and CQC standards.
- Respond to emergencies and provide guidance to care staff.
- Participate in staff training and induction.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a senior care role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and medication procedures.
- Ability to lead a team effectively.
- Flexible approach to shift work.
