We are seeking a dedicated CQC Registered Manager to oversee the provision of high-quality care services within our supported living accommodation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, getting in more clients, contacting councils/social workers on a daily basis and ensuring the well-being of residents, and leading a team of care professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day running of the domiciliary care service, ensuring standards of care and schedule of visits to clients are maintained.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans for residents in line with their specific needs.
  • Supervise and support care staff in delivering personalised care services.
  • Administer medications and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to deliver specialised dementia care.
  • Understand responsibilities in relation to providing care and support, adhering to health and safety, food hygiene, fire precautions, infection control and emergency procedures.
  • Participate in the growth and development of the business.
  • Accountable for maintaining compliance with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements and the expectations of contract holders ensuring the highest level of care and service.

Requirements

  • Certified CQC Registered Manager.
  • Must have over 5 years of work experience on the same level at the same sector.
  • Valid nursing license or relevant healthcare certification is preferred.
  • Experience in managing care facility, ideally in domiciliary care or supported living accommodations.
  • Proficiency in creating and implementing care plans.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices.
  • Specialised training in dementia care is desirable.
  • Holds a train-the-trainer certificate for practical training.
  • Solid understanding of the statutory and regulatory framework governing the service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
  • Passion for senior care and improving residents' quality of life.
