We are headquartered in London, Riyadh, Singapore and Dubai, Cape Town, Cairo & Sydney working throughout the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Our areas of expertise are represented in four core verticals: Building Engineering, Planning and Infrastructure, Strategy and Advisory and Commissioning, Handover and Asset Management. Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Fire & Life Safety projects.
- Successful delivery of Fire & Life Safety projects in a timely manner and on budget.
- Successful retention of key clients and repeat work.
- Protect AESG liability across all Fire & Life Safety projects.
- Assist Divisional Leadership in maintaining healthy staff satisfaction levels and retention of key employees.
- Support Strategic expansion of competent offering to align with targeted Clients and sectors through strategic resourcing (personnel, facilities).
- Positioning of AESG as a ‘trusted consultant’ to key Clients and industries and increase both market share and reputation internationally.
- Lead the technical delivery of projects working with project team Engineers, Seniors, Associates and Principal Consultants throughout all project phases, including report and drawings reviewing, modelling and simulations, site inspections and visits, audits, AHJ and Clients meetings and presentations, and project sign off.
- Assist Divisional Leadership where required with the QAQC within the department across all Fire & Life Safety services, including technical accuracy, project delivery, and quality standards.
- Assist with training of junior and intermediate employees, including development and delivery of recruitment needs, and support companywide training and ongoing mentoring/coaching programs.
- Assist Divisional Leadership where required with the department project management plan and structure towards successful and sustainable projects delivery across all Fire & Life Safety services.
- Play a key role in the department marketing within Fire & Life Safety industry including whitepapers, conferences, seminars, and other industry events.
Qualifications / Experience
- Recognised relevant Engineering degree, ideally qualified to MSc level with relevant academic or post academic professional qualifications to carry out the role.
- A minimum of 15+ years of professional experience in a similar industry.
- 8+ years strong management experience, leading a team of subject matter experts.
- Chartered Engineer with the Institute Fire Engineers or equivalent (or applying).
