- Job Purpose
Hold responsibility for the construction supervision projects, manage both the technical and commercial aspects of projects, and provide guidance and leadership to junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide façade consultancy services and develop façade design solutions that balance performance, buildability, and aesthetics across a range of projects and project stages.
- Lead or contribute to new build, retrofit and façade remediation projects across multiple sectors.
- Carry out technical reviews and engineering analyses across various project stages.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, standards and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external consultants, design teams and specialists.
- Support site-based technical services, including inspections and compliance monitoring.
- Liaise with architects, contractors, developers and industry suppliers.
- Mentor junior engineers and help develop the team’s technical capabilities.
- Contribute to thought leadership, business development and win new work opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or equivalent.
- Façade Engineering MSc or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in façade design and engineering.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, industry standards and guidance.
- Experience with façade analysis tools is an advantage.
