  • Deliver strategy through supplier relationships across multiple projects including equipment CAPEX and MRO projects for UK plants.
  • Negotiate, draft, and manage complex contracts for bespoke equipment and system solutions, ensuring full commercial and legal compliance.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate contract risks, including:

  • Deliver results in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including presenting confidently to very senior directors and executives.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail across all contractual and commercial aspects of CAPEX projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, to specification, and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Extremely robust – capable of handling challenging environments and personalities without losing focus or professionalism.
  • Self-starter and completer-finisher: able to take full ownership of tasks through to delivery without being micro-managed.
  • Highly experienced in complex, high-value capital project environments (preferably £10m+ per project).
  • Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of contract law principles relating to CAPEX projects.
  • Results-driven with a relentless focus on delivery and performance.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, especially with senior leadership.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under sustained pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Proven track record of achieving successful project outcomes despite tight constraints and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Have an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and willingness for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, and presentation skills are a must.
