Would suit a person who is either a qualified or part-qualified actuary with actuarial technical checking and DB pension experience. My client is one of the leading providers specialising in defined benefit pension schemes. This is an exciting time for them as they are expanding their operations and are looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst with DB pensions experience.
Duties include:
- Completing and checking actuarial valuations and funding updates, accounting disclosures and solving client manager questions.
- Supporting schemes and client managers, drafting plans and preparing client advice.
- Checking adjustment calculations from Mantle.
- Clearly laying out calculations with all figures in reports and checking work of junior trainees.
- Acknowledging queries by email and responding promptly.
- Ensuring work complies with Technical Actuarial Standards where appropriate.
