A well-established engineering business is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join its growing design team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering graduate looking to build a long-term career in automated machinery and special purpose equipment design.

You’ll receive hands-on training, structured mentoring, and exposure to the full design lifecycle, working alongside experienced engineers on bespoke automation projects.

The Role

  • Mechanical design of automated systems and machinery
  • Produce and modify 3D CAD designs (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Support component selection including pneumatics, motors, drives and encoders
  • Assist with project delivery, timescales and cost awareness
  • Learn industry best practice through shadowing senior engineers

  • HNC / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
