Our client designs and manufactures high-performance fibre optic laser systems used in biotechnology and semiconductor industries. Due to continued growth, they need an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator to lead from the front and embed best-in-class safety standards across the site.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and driving the site-wide H&S strategy
- Ensuring full compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation
- Identifying, assessing and controlling workplace risks
- Conducting audits, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Advising and influencing management on HASAWA and related regulations
- Promoting a proactive, safety-first culture
What You’ll Bring:
- HNC / Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience in a Health & Safety role within manufacturing or engineering
- Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation
- Confidence to challenge, influence and implement change
