My client is a long, well established and respected company specialising in manufacturing high quality door sets, windows and screens. Due to expansion they are looking for a carpenter/joiner to be part of their friendly team and work within the company’s manufacturing factory/workshop and on construction/building sites. This is a permanent position - Monday - Friday (39 - 40 hours).
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in joinery covering both site installation and working in a workshop environment.
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings, sketches and cutting lists.
- Good knowledge of timber, sheet materials, adhesives, fixings and finishings.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years experience.
- A full clean driver’s license.
- Formal qualifications in joinery and carpentry.
- Flexibility and reliability in switching between site and factory duties.
- Preferably have experience using CNC or automated woodworking machinery.
