About the role
We are looking for a Sales & Design Engineer to join the sales team in our Dingwall office. The successful applicant will receive on the job training with a view to long term personal development. Knowledge of renewable energy, particularly Heat Pumps, is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries and existing enquiries whether via telephone, email, post, web or face-to-face
- Utilise the in-house CRM system
- General office and sales administration
- Where necessary assign customer enquiry to the appropriate member of staff according to project size and complexity
- Support the sales team and wider company daily
- Communicating updates to clients
- Reading design specifications and technical drawings
- Carry out initial desktop surveys & designs to offer advice to clients by phone and email
- Carry out site surveys to determine installation parameters for the submission of accurate quotations
- Participate in learning and development (including training) to achieve relevant knowledge, skills and understanding
- Any other duties reasonably requested by management
- Maintaining detailed knowledge of the company\\\’s products, systems and services
- Work on a day-to-day basis in line with the company’s core values
