Senior Software Engineer, Perception at AeroVect

Responsibilities
- Train, deploy and monitor 2D/3D object detection models (Camera, LiDAR, Radar)
- Build and maintain data collection, labeling and evaluation (metrics) pipeline
- Maintain proprietary multi‑modal dataset for training and evaluation
- Architect a deterministic secondary perception system
- Mentor junior engineers about best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field
- 3+ years of focused experience in perception (sensing, preprocessing, detection, tracking)
- Proficiency in Python, C++ and ROS2
- Ability to work autonomously
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline
- Experience developing CUDA kernels
